Still working on the foundation along the south wall, we decided we needed to repair all of the concrete above the second basement.  That concrete seemed in good condition.

So, it was all removed, and we supported the house temporarily with several 4X4′s (after we jacked the house up a little) and made some forms for the new concrete.  We mixed the cement by hand, in a wheel barrow.  It ended up being about 2-1/2 cubic yards of cement.  A little more work than we expected.
