Thinking Out Loud

Since we planned on having a hi-efficiency furnace and hot water heater installed, a chimney is no longer a necessity.  It also expanded the possibilities for the makeover.

So Bert, and his friend Matt took on the task.  Here’s a view into the kitchen from the floorless bathroom…

Cleanup is old fashioned.  Dish soap and cold water from the outside tap – the only plumbing in the house still connected…
