Thinking Out Loud

I’ve never been to the mountains in the winter time, so while I was in Calgary, a trip to Banff was nothing less than a necessity. It was a great day – the temperature was around 14°, hardly a cloud in the sky, and a slight breeze to remind you that it was winter in the mountains.

It goes without saying, that skiing was not on the agenda. Photography (or something like it) was the focus. Maybe there would even be a bear or two this time around. Read the rest of this entry »

Canada Day was pretty uneventful for me. I worked on the yard, but it was so f***ing hot that it was 10 minutes of work and 20 minutes of rest. Needless to say, not much was accomplished.

I did go to the fireworks display (or as close as I could get – seems everyone in Moose Jaw wanted something to do on a hot summer evening). Here’s a couple of photos. Read the rest of this entry »
